ABOUT ME
DR. ASM Hossain Kabir
I’m Dr. A. S. M. Hossain Kabir, a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon. I completed my MBBS from Chittagong Medical College and obtained MS in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and Hospital (NICVD), Dhaka. I am also a BCS (Health) cadre.
Currently, I work as an Assistant Professor of Cardiac Surgery at Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital, Dhaka. My clinical expertise includes congenital heart disease surgery (ASD, VSD, PDA, TOF), open heart surgery such as CABG and heart valve surgery, vascular procedures including AVM and varicose vein treatment, and thoracic surgeries for lung and oesophageal diseases.
I am committed to providing advanced, safe, and patient-centered surgical care.
